The Newsletter of the Canadian Viola Society (CVS) is a publication addressed primarily to violists to promote viola performance and research. Articles are written by performers, teachers, and historians for the interest of the wider community of professional and amateur violists, teachers, students, makers, publishers and string enthusiasts.
The newsletter is published twice each year - spring and autumn. It is prepared using WordPerfect and a laser printer, is professionally photocopied and runs between 24 and 36 pages in length. It reaches our members in addition to representatives of the American Viola Society and the International Viola Society.
Newsletter advertising space is limited and is available on a first-come; first-served basis.

Those purchasing newsletter advertising of one-quarter page or larger, for two consecutive issues of the newsletter may also purchase web-site advertising at a reduced cost. This advertising is payable in advance. For Major Sponsors, the cost of web-site advertising will be reduced by 25%. For Benefactors and Supporters, the cost of the web-site advertising will be reduced by 20%. |
