    How to Join the CVS!

    All memberships in the CVS are calendar year memberships and expire at the end of December. If you join during the year, you will receive all mailings from that year, retroactively if necessary.

    To join the CVS, please print the Membership Form (in pdf format), fill it out and send it, together with your cheque, to the treasurer (the address is on the form). If you have difficulty opening the form or any questions, please contact the treasurer at: "membership [at] viola.ca" .

    For a dual membership (Canadian Viola Society/American Viola Society) which also includes a subscription to the Journal of the American Viola Society, please send an additional fee as indicated on the form (subject to change as the value of the Canadian dollar fluctuates).

    Student members who join the Society shall be full-time students at any accredited educational institution and may be asked to provide proof of such status.

    Emeritus members shall be persons who have been regular members for at least four years and who have passed their 65th birthday, provided they choose to be classified as emeritus members.

    Active $ 40.00 $ 62.00 *
    Student $ 24.00 $ 46.00 *
    Emeritus $ 24.00 $ 46.00 *
    There is an extra mailing fee of $8 for overseas (outside of US and Canada) members and of $16 for dual overseas members.
    * These fees subject to change, as the Canadian dollar fluctuates in value.
